Rainbow Dash laid down next to her newborn colt. Her husband, Dragon Fire, sat next to her.
"So, this is our son, eh?" he said, prodding the colt a little to hard with his hoof. Rainbow Dash glared at him as the rainbow-maned colt squeaked in pain.
"Shut up, jeez! He's going to grow up to be a daredevil, just like me! Calm down," she snapped. Dragon returned the glare.
He raised a hoof and slapped the mare. Rainbow Dash reared up, having skidded away from the colt. "Don't touch him! You do, and I'll make sure you break your neck in a sonic rainboom!"
Dragon rolled his eyes. He stretched his wings lazily as he ignored Rainbow stand up and bring the colt closer to her.
"He looks like you, I'd show him some respect!"
